About Us
Su's Cottages is a boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Legian, just minutes walk to the popular Double Six Beach (the famous Blue Ocean Beach). Su's Cottages has been running for many years. Wayan Suwitra began this business by building two very basic rooms on his family property in 1982 and called it Su's Place renting at that time mainly to surfers. In 1987 he expanded to having five rooms and also a residence of his own where he lived with his wife Rena. It became an oasis for those travellers from all over the world seeking to find something small and family orientated. In 1996, further rooms were built with a pool and the name Su's Cottages began. It became the place for many travelers and tourists who would stay for very lengthy periods of time calling it home. Still today, many years later it is still a place where people love to stay because of the family orientated feeling with the Balinese staff and prime location. Many people return over and over again and always feel back at home. Now, after refurbishing (end of 2021) we are reopening and wish to continue with the same family orientated feel and atmosphere that we have generated over the years to provide that home away from home feeling.
